THE COOPERATIVE
CPL, SCRL is a cooperative society, endowed with legal personality, administrative and patrimonial autonomy.
CPL's articles of association were published in BR Nº31, III Série, of July 30, 2003. It started its activities on September 30, 2005 with 80 members and 414,700 MT of own funds, facilitating access to credit for farmers, breeders and small and medium traders as well as companies.
It operated in rented premises of the District Economic Activities Service until July 2008, when it moved to its own headquarters.
It is CPL's mission to grant credits for small businesses, basically in rural areas to low-income customers (natural or collective) with viable capacity and activities but without access to conventional banking; accept deposits and offer other innovative financial services and expand its action to the most remote regions of Limpopo, helping to reduce levels of poverty.

PRODUCTS
Trade Credit: directed to small and medium entrepreneurs for the development of commercial activities. Eligible owners of stalls, stalls, grocery stores, bar shops, etc.
Agricultural Credit: financing throughout the food production chain (cereals and vegetables) and purchase of agricultural equipment (implements, tractors, motor pumps, dehullers, etc.)
Construction and Consumer Goods: this product is designed to benefit employees as well as non-employees provided they have a source of payment in order to build homes and or commercial establishments. It is also granted for the purchase of personal consumer goods (appliances, furniture, vehicles, etc.).
Fisheries Fund: granted to small and medium-sized fishermen and fish traders when purchasing fishing equipment (nets, boats and cold equipment) or selling the fish itself.
